None of us were prepared for the scorching heat that greeted us this week. We went from the low 70s to the mid 90s overnight! Ugh!!!! I love the heat, but much prefer the gradual warm-up. Anyway, we have been busy as ever. I am finishing up my second year of Diakonia and will graduate next weekend. Dana finished track and immediately started spring color guard. Today was the Founder's Day parade and street fair. IT WAS SO HOT!!!!! Dana was such a trooper. She marched along performing her routine over and over. The entire band was having so much fun that they didn't stop until they reached the buses. It was really cute. As soon as they were done, Dana asked me to get her into a building with A.C. and to get her a drink. Like I said, IT WAS SO HOT!!!!!
